BEVERLY HILLS

PHASE: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

This project began as a remodel of an existing 3 level, 4712 square foot home that had been vandalized and was in major disrepair. After looking at remodeling options and leading several discussions with the owner and contractor, it was decided to demolish the existing home down to the foundation. Working with the existing footprint established by the remaining foundation, we designed a modern home that allowed for taller ceilings, larger bedrooms, more bathrooms and an open floor plan. The new house will also replace an unwelcome eyesore in the neighborhood.

The design includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms in the main house. We also designed a 700 square foot pool house addition that incorporates a guest suite and an updated pool deck in the rear. A second floor deck off the kitchen and master suite offers expansive views of Bright Leaf Preserve below. The garage was relocated from the front of the house to the lower side of the lot to allow the home to create a welcoming and spacious front yard.
