Hector, a Laredo native, had an early attachment to architecture through his many hours of lego building and childhood trips to Mexico. In 2013 he graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelors of Science in Architecture. Shortly after graduation, he made his way out to Houston to start his architectural career. While working for  E Studio he got the opportunity to work on the new design for the Houston International Terminal and the Houston Central Bank. He returned back to San Antonio briefly to work for RS&H to gain experience about government hangars, to finally making his way out to Austin to find his ultimate passion for residential design and earning his seat at Davey McEathron Architecture. He injects his creativity and ingenuity to ensure that all projects are both engaging and functional. With a proven track record of work delivered on time and under budget.

Outside of the office, you can find Hector enjoying a night (or weekend) of live music, searching for the next best thing at a variety of Austin’s craft breweries, plotting out a road trip and- as any good food junkie should- devoting requisite attention to the great cuisines in town.
