Carter Design Associates, Coleman and Associates, and Social Ecological Architecture combined efforts to reimagine the Seaholm Intake facility as a biological filter for Ladybird Lake. The filtered water fills a floating pool on the lake, and incorporated educational displays teach the public about our water resources and how to maintain and sustain them. The upper floor also serves as an unprogrammed gathering space for downtownconcerts, farmers markets, vantage point for fireworks displays.

As an employee of Carter Design Associates, Davey McEathron served as project manager/designer.
